All About Me
Before I get to talking about my podcast, I want to talk about me! My name is Olivia Kern, and I am currently a sophomore at the University of Mary Washington majoring in Communications and Digital Studies! I love playing tennis, swimming (whether it be in the lake next to my house or at the beach), reading, and hanging out with my best friends (and 2 cats and 2 dogs). But, most importantly, I LOVE pop culture. More specifically, movies. I have always loved movies from a young age, but have only recently started to watch them through an analytical and cinematic lens. Some of my favorite movies (or just my top 4 on Letterboxd) is Knives Out, Emma, Gone Girl, and Challengers.
Why I started the podcast?
I wanted to start a podcast because I simply have always wanted my own podcast or to post videos. My loves for movies inspired me to share some of my insights and theories of my favorite films. I want to stretch across different genres and themes so I can reach bigger audiences. I can not wait to start putting more episodes out and enjoy listening!
